Required documentation for boarding

You can go directly to boarding without going through the ticket offices, but you must have this documentation ready:

Documentation required on all routes:

  1. Identification document (DNI, NIE, Passport) must be original and valid. If you do not have any of these documents, and only on domestic routes, the passenger may board with a photo ID document (driving licence) provided they do not need to justify any discount or concession.
  2. Boarding pass (you can carry it printed or in digital format).

Minors under 14 years old who do not have an identification document may carry the Family Book or the Civil Registry certificate. Additionally, they must always travel accompanied, either by one of their parents or their legal guardian. If accompanied by another person, it is essential to present consent from the guardian or parent, in addition to the documentation mentioned above.

Additional documentation on routes to Morocco:

If you are travelling to Morocco, all members of the reservation must present a valid passport; if your country requires it, you will also need a visa. Check here the countries that do not require a visa.

To be able to enter Morocco, it will be necessary to complete this document, which you can print and hand over during the crossing to the Moroccan police personnel on board the ship. Don’t forget it!

Additional documentation on routes to Algeria:

If you are travelling to Algeria, all members of the reservation must present the following documentation, as well as having a return ticket.

PASSENGERS

  1. Passengers with Algerian nationality may provide one of the following documents:
    1. Algerian passport.
    2. Passport from another country along with expired Algerian passport.
    3. Algerian biometric identity card.
  2. Passengers with other nationalities:
  • Countries that require a visa: valid passport and visa for the entire stay of the passenger.
  • Countries that do not require a visa: valid passport.

Check here if your country requires a visa.

Persons with Israeli nationality are prohibited from entering Algeria.

If none of the above conditions are met, you can request a safe-conduct (Laissez Passer) from the Algerian consulate, which allows entry into the country.

VEHICLES

If you are travelling with a car for export, check the required documentation here.

If you are travelling with a private car, check the required documentation here.

You can carry out all customs procedures through this link: alces.douane.gov.dz

Cases in which you must go to the ticket office:

In the following cases, you must go to the ticket office before boarding, proving your status with the original and valid supporting document:

  1. To collect the boarding pass because you have a discount to prove (Youth card, pensioner, military, large family).
  2. To prove that you are a resident if it could not be validated electronically during the booking process and gave an error (SARA system).

REMEMBER: you can go days before boarding, so you will avoid queues and having to arrive earlier than the boarding time.
