Access to the pre-boarding area for passengers on the Algeciras - Ceuta and Algeciras - Tangier Med ferry route will only be allowed for passengers with a reservation or boarding pass dated within the next 24 hours.
This measure communicated by the PORT AUTHORITY OF THE BAY OF ALGECIRAS will entail stricter control over access to restricted boarding areas, in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Instruction for the management of ticket verification service and control of passenger and vehicle access to restricted boarding areas on the regular maritime lines Algeciras-Ceuta and Algeciras-Tangier Med, in effect since 27/02/23.
In this case, the following acceptance/rejection criteria will be followed, based on the reservation/boarding pass date:
- If the reservation/boarding pass is within the next 24 hours, access will be allowed
- If the reservation/boarding pass is outside the next 24 hours, i.e., it is old or from another day, access will be denied and the passenger will be directed to the EMA to change the ticket.
