If you are going to take a ferry trip to Algeria with a vehicle, you must take the following points into account:
- The boarding of any vehicle with a provisional registration or crossed-out circulation permit is not allowed.
- If travelling with a vehicle as a passenger, without being the owner, you must present the following documentation to the customs authorities:
- Valid circulation permit. It is not permitted to travel with a provisional circulation permit or "carte grise barré".
- A written authorisation for the transfer of the vehicle. The document must be original, signed by the vehicle owner and the person who will transport it to Algeria. The document must be signed and stamped by a notary, town hall or competent public body.
- A copy of the identity document or passport of the vehicle owner and the person who will transport the vehicle to Algeria.
3. IMPORTANT DEPARTURES FROM VALÈNCIA AND BARCELONA: If you carry more than 3 packages per passenger or any type of goods in the vehicle, it is strongly recommended to present an export DUA.
Any type of goods not strictly considered personal belongings will be regarded as commercial goods.
These requirements are MANDATORY.
