Required Documentation for Travel to Morocco

Before travelling to Morocco, check in advance that you have all the necessary documentation. This will help you avoid issues when accessing the port and speed up the checks before boarding.

Important: the DNI or national identity card does not allow entry into Morocco. For this trip, it is mandatory to carry a valid passport.

In general, all passengers must carry:

  • Valid passport, preferably with more than 6 months’ validity.
  • Ferry ticket and booking documentation.
  • Visa, eVisa or entry authorisation, only if required by the passenger’s nationality.

If you are departing from a European port to Morocco, bear in mind that border controls may take longer. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the port with sufficient time and checking your documentation before starting your journey.

  • If the minor travels alone, with one parent, or with another adult, the authorities may request additional documentation.
